Hey guys. Today we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System here on our 2019 Ford F-150. This is what our system is going to look like when installed. As you can see here, we have a nice rubber Aeon spring, followed up with our metal brackets here on the top, which attaches it to the frame. And then the bottom bracket here, which is going to serve as the contact point for the spring.If we take a look at the factory spring that this one replaces, as you can see, there's quite a big difference. The differences are going to be not only the height and how soon it engages, but the material of the spring is also going to be different as well. more

Hi there Ram owners, today in your 2011 Ram 1500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 Airbags. This is what our airbags look like when they're installed. They install between the axle and the frame of the vehicle, and they have internal jounce bumpers inside them, since we do remove the factory jounce bumper. Also don't we just remove the factory jounce bumper, but the entire jounce bumper mounting. It's nice that these have that internal jounce bumper for when we're running in conditions maybe where we're unloaded and or we just have a minor load and we've got just a little bit of air in the bags. In the event that we do bottom out, we have that bumper in there to ensure that we don't have any contact and causing damage to our suspension components.These bags are going to allow you to inflate each side independently as well. more

Now, these are going to be a great way to add some extra support and stability for the rear axle of your vehicle. If you're going to be hauling anything over that rear axle. So think if you're loading stuff into your truck bed, maybe you're using a gooseneck or a fifth wheel camper, or really putting any kind of load directly over the axle, these are a great way to help kind of balance out that load that you're putting on your truck. So basically whenever you put that load on the truck, it's going to bring down that back end. It can also kind of bring up the front end, can mess with your steering geometry, your truck just doesn't connect with the road as it should.It can mess with your braking capability as well. more

So the main purpose of our Timbren Springs are they're going to reduce the amount of sag or squat we have while we're towing or hauling a heavy load.The reason that's important is a lot of people don't actually realize some of the effects that our suspension has when we're squatting down. So without the Timbren's, our truck here depending on the amount of load we have is going to be squatting a couple inches and that couple inches, believe it or not, is going to have some drastic effects on our truck and towing.So what most people notice is that the truck's squatting and it just looks stupid. It looks kind of dumb having the rear end of your truck all the way down with the front end of your truck pointing up. But aside from that, there's actually a lot more going on behind the scenes most people aren't aware of.Number one, we're going to be wearing out our factory suspension much sooner than we would normally driving without a load. more

This helps to support your OEM suspension if you're putting any kind of extra weight in your vehicle, maybe you're hauling around extra people, or you're carrying around more gear than normal and it's causing some extra sag in the back end of your vehicle that can affect the overall handling of your vehicle, when you bring that back end of your vehicle down it brings the front end up just a little bit, and a little bit is all you need to start feeling a difference in how your vehicle connects with the road, it can affect your braking, how your steering handles, all kinds of stuff. So this kit is going to be there to help support that, bring your vehicle back to factory ride height, and eliminate a lot of those issues.This is great for those vehicles that you're putting a lot of weight in the back of the actual vehicle itself, not necessarily towing. It can help there, but if you're putting a lot of weight further back then the rear axle, you actually probably want to go with a weight distribution set if your vehicle's rated for that.
