Today on our 2015 Ford Edge we're going to be installing Tekonsha's T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. This four pole flat trailer connector is going to provide you with all the necessary lighting you need to haul your trailer. This includes your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps and brake lamps, keeping your DOT compliant in all states. What's great about this vehicle wiring harness is the included module. The module ensures that your trailer wiring stays separate from the wiring on your vehicle. So if you have any faults with the tail or brake circuits on your trailer, it won't affect any of the tail or brake circuits on your vehicle. more

Here we have the Tekonsha, part number 118669. Then over here we have our CURT, part number C56272. Now the end result is going to give you a four-flat to connect to your trailer, but the way we get it is going to be a little bit different. With the Tekonsha, the wiring is going to stay on the outside of the vehicle at all times. Now the CURT, on the other hand, our wiring's going to be tucked away underneath by our spare tire. more

Today, on our 2015 Ford Edge, we're going to show you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with the 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. Part number is 118677. Here's what our wiring is going to look like when we get out of the box. We've got our yellow and brown wire. This is going to go right in between the factory connection for our driver's side tail light. Of course, our 4-pole flat wire, that's what we're after. more
