Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best vehicle wiring options for a 2009 Scion XB.Here on your left, we're going to have the Tekonsha, part number 118468 and here on your right, we're going to have the CURT, part number 56062.First inaudible 00:00:17 are going to be minor. The Curt is going to come with black silicone, the Tekonsha is not. Another difference is the dust cap on the Tekonsha is an attached dust cap, the Curt is a removable. Now some of the main differences. On the Curt, you see where your wires that run to your tail lights, you have your two wires that run into a double wire. Where it's connected here has just got heat shrink around it. On your Tekonsha, where those two wires come into the four it's got a hard, plastic casing around it so it's going to protect that connection a lot better.Another difference is the Tekonsha is going to have 2.1 amps per circuit for your stop and turn and 5.6 amps per circuit for your tail lights, whereas your Curt is going to have 3 amps for your stop and turn and 6 amps per circuit for your tail lights. Now one of the big differences between these two is your converter boxes. more
