Today on our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with the Four-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. Part number is HM11143865. This is what our wiring kit's going to look like when we pull it out of the package. This really is a pretty simple straightforward kit to install. Basically, we're going to have a plug in the back of the Crosstrek. It's a factory plug. We'll be able to plug this directly in. more

Part number is C56040. Now, this is what our wiring kit's going to look like when you get it out of your package. You can see this is the main goal. This is what we're looking for. This is going to be a 4-pole flat trailer connector. We can hook it up to a trailer, or cargo carrier, or something like that and have lights that work. more

Today on our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness with a four-pole flat trailer connector. Part number is 118467. Now this is what our wiring harness is going to look like when we pull it out of the package. It's going to give us our right turning brake, our left turning brake, our running lights, and also our ground for our trailer. Now to do that, we're simply going to plug this in in an already existing port in the back of the Crosstrek. It's going to make it nice and simple. It gets its power from the dedicated power source and it's going to get all of its signals from the lights coming in through here. more
