Trailer Hitch Installation - 2007 Chevrolet Silverado New Body - Curt- Video
Today, in our 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at installing the Curt trailer hitch receiver, Class 5 XD, part number C15323. Here's what it looks like once it's installed. You can see it's a nice, large, square diameter tubing that comes across; two nice, big, flat safety chain loops. It's a two inch receiver with a nice welded collar around the outside, and it's all in black powder coating. This hitch is designed to have 2,400 pounds of tongue weight and 16,000 pounds of of pulling weight or trailer weight. If you use a weight distribution system, your tongue weight's going to remain the same at 2,400 pounds, and it will go up to 17,000 pounds on pulling. You want to make sure your vehicle's rated to tow a trailer that heavy by checking your owner's manual or contacting the manufacturer. Let's get some measurements that's going to help you in choosing some accessories for your hitch, such as a ball mount, a cargo carrier, or a bike rack. From the ground to the top of the hitch receiver tube, it's about 19-and-a-half inches. more

In our 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at installing the hidden hitch trailer hitch receiver, class 3. Part number 87186. Here's what it looks like installed. As you can see it's got a nice black shiny powder coat finish, a round tubular design. It does come with a built in wiring attachment for your plugs. It's got some nice large safety chain loops out of a flat piece of stock. more

Today in our 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to being taking a look at installing the Draw Type Max Spring Trailer Hitch Receiver part number 75362. Here's what it looks like installed. As you can see it's got a nice, black, shiny, powder coated finish, round tubular design. Does come with a built in wiring attachment for your plugs. It's got some nice, large, safety chain loops out of a flat piece of stock. This hitch set up for a J-pin stabilization device, which is why there's two holes. more
