Today in this 2012 Ford F150 SuperCrew Cab, were going to install part #13368 from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like when its installed on our truck. Next, well go ahead and give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories such as the ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 19 inches, and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 3 inches.Now I'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. Now to start off our install, we'll go ahead and show you where the hitch mounts up. Its going to mount up using this oval hole at the bottom of the bumper bracket and the second place is going to be this hole right behind the rear suspension shackle. more

A quick note: You can lower the vehicle's spare tire to help make things easier, but we're not going to today. Next, we're going to show you the four attachment points that we're going to be using on the bumper brackets. We're going to show you everything on the driver's side and it's the exact same over on the passenger's side. We're going to use this lower bolt hole on the bumper bracket for our front facing attachment point on our hitch. The other attachment point is further up on the bracket. more
