Also, when it comes to towing, we found that the Draw-Tite is going to be the best choice there. Today on our 2018 Ford Explorer, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number E98867.So, here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. The crosstube is going to sit right below the bumper, but it is going to sit back a little bit, so it's not going to be that noticeable. It's a Class III hitch, so it's going to give us that 2" x 2" receiver tube opening. It's going to have a lot of different options for any kind of accessory that we want to mount up. The way we're going to mount any accessory is to the hitch pinhole here on the side. It is going to accept a standard 5/8 pin and clip. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Ford Explorer we'll be having a look at our best hitch options. We have two hitches here today. On the top we have a Draw-Tite Class 3, part number 76034. On the bottom we have a CURT Class 3, part number C13386.The first biggest difference that we found between our two hitches here today is in regards to weight capacity. Our Draw-Tite hitch here has a higher max gross tongue weight rating at 675 pounds, whereas our CURT hitch here, it's only 400 pounds. Also, our Draw-Tite hitch has a higher max gross trailer weight rating at 4,500 pounds, whereas on our CURT it's 4,000 pounds. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Ford Explorer, we're going to be taking a look at and I'm going to show you how to install the Draw-Tite Class III Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 76034.This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. As you can see, the cross tube is visible. However, most of it is up behind the bumper. This is going to have a nice, round design, so it's going to fit with the contour of the vehicle. The hitch does sit nice and tucked in behind the edge of the bumper fascia, so you're not going to have to worry about hitting your legs or your shins on it when you're loading and unloading the vehicle.It's going to be a class III. It's going to be a 2 inch x 2 inch. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Ford Explorer, you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install the Curt Class 111 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C13386.This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. It's going to be a Class 111. It's going to be 2" by 2". It's going to have a 5/8" hitch pin hole. You can see the receiver tube has a reinforced collar on it, to give a little extra stability. You can see the cross tube, however most of it is up behind the bumper. more
