Best 2013 Ford C-Max Hitch Options- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Ford C-Max we'll be having a look at our best trailer hitch options. We have two options here today as far as hitches go. On the top we have a Draw-Tite, part number 24896. On the bottom here we have a CURT, part number C12092. The biggest difference that we found between our two hitches here today is when it comes to weight capacity. Our Draw-Tite hitch at the top is a Class 1 hitch with a 200 pound max tongue weight rating and a 2,000 pound max gross tongue weight rating. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Ford C-Max- Video
Today on our 2013 Ford C-Max we'll be installing the CURT trailer hitch, part number C12092. Here's what the hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you chose some accessories for your hitch such as a bicycle rack or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper is approximately 4-1/2" and from the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 11". Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. To begin with we're going to need to go to the driver side rear of the vehicle and go underneath. We'll need to remove two bolts that hold the muffler bracket in place. more
