Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Ford van, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite class three custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number 75703.Here's what our hitch looks like when it's fully installed. It's going to sit right below the bumper and the cross tube is going to visible just right below that bumper there. Now this is a class three hitch, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and as you can see, it has a reinforced collar, not only giving it strength but also a nice finished look. Now, our hitch is going to use a standard five-eighths pin and clip. That's going to be the hole closest to our van. Now they're not included but you can pick some up on our website using part number PC3. The second hole here is going to be for the J pin stabilization device and that's going to be great if any of our accessories don't have a built in anti-rattle. more

Today is 2014 Ford van. We're going to review and install the Curt Class IV 2" receiver hitch, part number 14055. All right, this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on the van. You can see the whole assembly does sit below the bumper. It's constructed out of square tubing. This is our 2" receiver opening right here and does have a built-in reinforcement around here, helps strengthen the end of the tubing. Go further in, we got 5/8" hitch-pin hole which is industry standard so it'll work with a regular conventional hitch-pin or your favorite locking hitch-pin. If we look on the bottom here, it has a steel plate and it has cutouts for your safety hooks. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Ford Van - Draw-Tite

Today on a 2015 Ford Van, we're going to review and install a class 5, 2" receiver hitch, part number 41945. The hitch itself is created from a really big and really thick tube construction, going all the way across both sides of the frame. If we take a look at the receiver section, itself is actually built a little bit different material than the steel. This is actually a cast steel assembly right here, which makes a lot stronger than a a regular steel stock that you see on other hitches. With this enhanced receiver, you get a reinforced ring right here for your hitch can hold. On traditional hitches, made out of regular steel, over time if you use industrial application, the holes will actually wallow out and you'll get a lot of slop with your receiver play. Same thing applies to the outside edge of your receiver opening as well. more
