Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Nissan Altima - Draw-Tite- Video
Speaker 1: Today on this 2017 Nissan Altima you'll be having a look at, and being shown how to install, the Draw-Tite Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number: 24796. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. One nice thing about this hitch is that it's very well tucked up underneath our vehicle, and behind the vehicle, so you don't have to worry about running your shin into it or having it stick out past the bumper causing an obstruction. It's a nice clean look on our Altima. On the side of our receiver you'll find our industry standard 1/2" diameter hitch pin hole for securing any of our hitch-mounted accessories. Welded onto the bottom of our receiver is our rolled steel tubular design safety chain loop, which is easy to hook onto for most sized chains. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Nissan Rogue - Curt- Video
Today on our 2017 Nissan Rogue, we'll be having a look at and installing the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C13204. The only part visible of our hitch is the actual Class III 2" receiver itself and our safety chain loops that are welded onto the bottom of it. The rest of it is hidden behind our fascia. Now, our safety chain loops are a tubular steel design. It's welded to the bottom of the receiver. We have a fairly large opening, so we shouldn't have much problem, if any at all, hooking the hooks of our safety chains from our trailer onto them. On the side of our receiver, you'll find our industry standard 5/8" diameter hitch pinhole to secure any of our hitch-mounted accessories. At the end of our receiver we have this nice collar that's welded on to help reinforce the hitch and give it a nice finished look underneath our vehicle. This hitch features a 525-pound max gross tongue weight rating, which is the amount forcing down, and a 3,500-pound max gross trailer weight rating, which is the amount you can pull. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Nissan Rogue - Curt C12122- Video
Today, on our 2017 Nissan Rogue, we'll be having a look at and installing the Curt class II 1-1/4" trailer hitch receiver, part number C12122. Our hitch is completely hidden behind our fascia. The only part you see hanging down is the class II 1-1/4" receiver itself. Our safety chain loops are rolled tubular steel design, so we shouldn't have much problem with any at all using most safety chain loops on them. On the side of our receiver, we'll find our industry standard 1/2" diameter hitch pin hole. We have this nice welded-on collar here to add a little bit more strength to the end of our receiver and to give it a nice finished look on our vehicle. This hitch features a 350-pound max tongue weight rating, which is the amount forcing down, and a 3500-pound max gross trailer weight rating, which is the amount it can pull. You'll want to consult with the owner's manual of your Nissan Rogue and not exceed the limits of the vehicle or the hitch itself. more

Today on our 2017 Nissan Rogue, we'll be having a look at and installing the Draw-Tite class two trailer hitch receiver, part number 36542. Our hitch is completely hidden up behind the fascia, the only part that's visible is the class two 1.25" receiver itself with our safety chain loops on the bottom. The hitch is also tucked up behind the fascia far enough that it doesn't stick out past it so when we're loading cargo into our hatch area we don't have to worry about running our shin or knee into the receiver. Our safety chain loops here are a round, tubular steel design. We got a fairly large size opening here so we shouldn't have any problems hooking on any of our safety chain hooks onto them from our trailers. On the side, we'll have our industry standard half inch diameter hitch pin hole to secure any of our hitch mounted accessories that we may have. This hitch features a 300 pound max tongue weight rating, which is the amount forcing down, and a 3500 pound max gross trailer weight rating, which is the amount it can pull. You want to consult with the owners manual of your Rogue and not exceed the capabilities of the vehicle or the hitch itself. Today on our 2017 Nissan Leaf we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the CURT Custom-Fit Class 1 trailer hitch receiver. Part number is 11396. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed on the Leaf. As you can see, you're not adding a whole lot to the rear of the vehicle. We don't have crosstubes or anything like that. Those are all hidden behind the fascia. Just going to have our receiver tube opening and our safety chain connection points all that are really going to be visible. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Nissan Pathfinder - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2017 Nissan Pathfinder, we'll be having a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame 2 inch trailer hitch receiver, part number 76031. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it's nice and tucked up underneath our rear fascia here, giving us optimal ground clearance and hiding most of the body of the hitch underneath the fascia itself, giving us a nice, clean look. On the side of our hitch here, we'll see our standard 5/8 of an inch diameter hitch pin hole and towards the rear, we'll have our J Pin stabilization device hole. J Pin stabilization device will take some of that annoying shake, play and rattle out of what's inserted into your receiver such as your bike rack or your cargo carrier. Down on the bottom here, we have some nice, large, easy to use safety chain loops on a plate welded to the bottom of the receiver and the frame. Off to the driver's side, we have this nice attachment point here that's welded onto the hitch, giving us a place to mount our 4-pole flat trailer wiring or our 7-way RV wiring, or whatever other trailer wiring that we have on our vehicle. This hitch features a 900 pound max tongue weight rating and a 6,000 pound gross trailer weight rating. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Nissan Rogue - Draw-Tite 75902- Video
Today on our 2017 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Custom-Fit Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 75902. This is what our hitch looks like fully installed, and as you can see, it's not going to add a whole lot to the appearance of the vehicle. The crosstube is actually tucked up underneath the bumper, and all you're really going to see is the receiver tube. This has a 2" x 2" receiver tube and has a nice reinforced rolled collar for a nice look. It's going to use a standard 5/8 pin and clip, which is not included, but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3. Now, the second smaller hole in the front is for the J-pin stabilization device, which you can also pick up on our website, and that's for any accessories that don't have their own anti-rattle device built in. The safety loops are nice. There's plenty of room to attach any hooks and they're made out of a rolled stock steel, and as you can see, you're not going to have to worry about any interference getting your hooks on or off. more

Today on our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder we'll be installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame trailer hitch receiver, part number 76031. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it's nice and tucked up underneath our rear fascia here. The very end of the receiver sits about even with our rear fascia here. That will make it easy for us to hook up any hitch-mounted accessory we may have and not worry about any interference with our fascia. We have this nice collar that's welded on the outside edge of the receiver, giving it a little bit of extra durability and also giving it a more finished appearance. Today on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite max frame trailer hitch receiver, part number 76031. What I really like about this Draw-Tite hitch, it's really set up for a person who's going to be towing a trailer and also recreational use. You have this nice bracket that's welded on here to mount your electrical accessories. That way it's one less thing you have to worry about buying in order to have a complete towing package. If we're using it for recreational use, I like the J pin stabilization device hole. If I have a cargo carrier or bike rack back here, I don't want to listen to it rattling around when I'm traveling down the road. more

Now our hitch has our industry standard 2x2 inch receiver opening here. Now on the bottom of our hitch, underneath the receiver and the frame of it, we have these nice large safety chain openings here. They'll be able to fit pretty much every safety chain out there on easily. To the side of our receiver, we have our industry standard 5/8 of an inch diameter hitch pin hold towards the front. You have to enlarge 1 of the holes in the frame rail to feed your carriage bolts and your spacer plates into it. Our Draw-Tite hitch, however, we have to drill all 4 holes into the trunk pan where your spare tire well is. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2006 Nissan Xterra - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2006 Nissan Xterra, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the DrawTite Max-Frame Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 75291. The thing that I like most about this hitch, is how easily accessible everything is and easy to get to. Although it does come out past the rear of the bumper just a little bit, it makes sure that you shouldn't have any problems whenever you're using accessories with this. It features a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, a nice reinforcement collar that's welded on here. Then over here, we've got the five eighths hitch pin hole which is going to used to secure all of our accessories. Then here we've got the smaller half inch hole. That's going to be used for our J-pin stabilization system. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2006 Nissan Xterra - Curt- Video
Today on our 2006 Nissan Xterra we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Curt Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 13514. The cross tube is very visible, but that means that everything that we'll be working with here is going to be really easy to access and easy to use because it's open and there's nothing confined around it. It's got the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening with the nice solid reinforcement collar around it. Got the rolled steel safety chain connections points down here, so just about whatever type of safety chain that you may have you should be able to get it connect it here because you've got plenty of room to work. Here on the top it's got this nice reinforced steel plate that's welded on. With this one, with it coming out just a little bit past the bumper, if absolutely needed to get up to, say a roof rack or anything that you may have, you could even use that as a step if absolutely necessary. It's got the standard 5/8 of an inch hitch pin hole that's going to be used to secure all of your accessories. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Nissan Armada - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2010 Nissan Armada, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite max-frame class III trailer hitch receiver, part number 75644. Here's what this hitch is going to look like once it's installed on the vehicle. Overall, I like how well this hitch tucks up to the underside of the bumper while still giving you full accessibility to be able to use everything on here. The hitch is also going to give you plenty of clearance for any of your hitch mounting accessories that you may use. The nice part about having the cross tube come down a little bit is that they also give you this bracket right here which allow you to mount any wiring to it. If you're planning on towing a trailer on a regular basis, this bracket's going to be good in order to mount up your wiring so it's easily accessible. Here on the hitch we've got this nice reinforcement collar that's welded on. It's a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Nissan Armada - Curt- Video
Today on our 2010 Nissan Armada we're going to be taking a look and installing the CURT class three trailer hitch receiver, part number 13188. Here's what this hitch is going to look like once it's installed on the vehicle. This hitch will do really well for anything you may need to use it for because it's going to give you plenty of clearance. You've got good access to your hitch pinhole and you've also got good access to your safety chain connection points here. It also tucks up very nicely to where the only bit of the crosstube that you can see is just right here where this cover was. Other than that, it's nicely hidden behind the fascia to where it doesn't really take away from the look of your vehicle. This hitch features a 600 pound max tongue weight rating and a 6,000 pound gross trailer weight rating rating, which are both up to 1,000 pound tongue weight and 10,000 pound gross trailer weight rating with a weight distribution system. more

Best 2015 Nissan Xterra Hitch Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2015 Nissan Xterra. The hitches we'll be looking at are the CURT class three hitch, part number 13514, and the Draw-Tite class three hitch, part number 75291. The first major difference that we're going to see between these two hitches are when the CURT's on there, it's a little bit more aesthetically pleasing than the Draw-Tite. Just with the way that this reinforcement collar is made and the plate that's along the top just helps give it a little bit cleaner look. Another major difference that you're going to see between these two is the safety chain connection points. Down here on the Draw-Tite we've got the plate-style with the oval holes cut in them. Those give us pretty good access for a lot of safety chain connections, but up here on the CURT we've got the rolled steel safety chain connections. more
