Today on our 2014 Chevy Sonic we'll be test fitting the SportRack Super EZ Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack part number SR2901LR. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack in to the opening of the hitch. After lining up the pin holes we'll thread in our anti-rattle bolts and tighten it down using a wrench. The bike rack secured we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about thirteen inches of ground clearance. Closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle is about six inches and we've added about twenty five inches to the overall length of our Sonic. We'll now go ahead and pull the three pins at the base of the bike rack to pull down the wheel cradles as well as the mast. more

Today on our 2014 Chevy Sonic, we'll be testing fitting the Prorack Hitch-Mounted 4-Bike rack, part number PR8062404. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch. After lining up the pin holes, we'll thread our anti-rattle bolt into the pin holes and tighten it down with a wrench. We'll then secure it with a clip on the other side. With the bike rack secured, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about 10 inches of ground clearance. The closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle is about 5 inches away, and we've added about 30 inches to the overall length of our Sonic. With the bike rack in this position, you can see that we do have access to the vehicle's trunk. To be able to load larger cargo into our trunk, we can remove the pin at the base of the bike rack and tilt the mast down. more

We'll pull the pin with the red knob at the base of our bike rack to allow our bike rack to unfold. With the bike rack in this position we have full access to our rear hatch door. more

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, we'll be test fitting the Thule Hitching Post Pro, folding and tilting 4 bike rack with anti-sway, fitting the 1 1/4 and 2 inch hitches, part number TH934XTR. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of the hutch. Line up the pin hole and thread in our anti-rattle bolt, tightening it with a wrench. Now we'll go over some clearance measurements. We have about 20 1/2 inches of ground clearance because it's one of the bike rack to the rear of our Tahoe is about 8 inches and we've added about 17 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. We'll pull the safety pin at the base of the mast and our bike rack to tilt the way from our vehicle. This gives us full access to our rear hatch door. With the mast back in it's up right position and the pin reinstalled, we'll pull the pin at the top of the mast to swing out our door alarms. With these out, we've added about 39 1/2 inches to the overall length of our Chevrolet Tahoe. Well under our cradle straps to expose our cradles. We'll grab our bike, place it on to the frame cradles and secure it by tightening each strap. With our bike all loaded up, that completes today's test fit of the Thule Hitching Post Pro part number TH934XTR on our 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe. more

We have about 23-1/2 inches of ground clearance at our support bar. The closest point of the bike rack to the rear of our Tahoe is about 9-1/2 inches, and we've added about 44-1/2 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. We'll pull the 3 pins at the base of each 2-bike configuration. This allows the different parts of the bike rack to unfold. Closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle is about one and a half inches away and we've added about twelve inches to the overall length of our Sonic. We can now lift up on the grade lever at the top of the mast and swing the cradle arms out. more

We've added about thirty-three inches to the overall length of our Blazer. We'll undo the cradle straps and with our cradles exposed, we'll place our bike onto the frame cradles. We'll secure it by tightening down each strap. One of the cool features of the Parallelogram is its ability to tilt with the bike loaded. If we pull the pin here at the top of the mast, we can tilt our carrier away from our vehicle. This gives us full access to the cargo area by being able to open our rear hatch. We'll go ahead and undo our cradle straps and with our cradles exposed we'll place our bike onto the frame cradles. We'll secure it by tightening down each strap. We'll pull the pin on the passenger's side of the carrier up near the top, which allows our carrier to tilt away from the vehicle with the bike loaded keeping it parallel with the ground. This gives us access to the bed of our truck by being able to open our tailgate. Today on our 2005 Chevrolet Equinox we'll be test fitting the Thule Vertex Four Bike Carrier, part number TH9029. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up the pin hole, and thread in our anti-rattle bolt, tightening it with a wrench. Now we'll go over some key measurements. We have elven inches of ground clearance. The closest part of the rack to our Equinox is about three inches. We have added twelve inches to the overall length of our Chevrolet Equinox. We'll pull the lever at the base of the carrier to allow our carrier to tilt away from the vehicle. This allows us to gain access to the cargo area of our vehicle by being able to open our rear hatch. With our mast back in its upright position, we'll pull the lever at the top of the mast to swing down the dual arms. With these out, we've added thirty-six inches to the overall length of our vehicle. We'll go ahead and undo the cradle straps to expose our cradles, place our bike onto the frame cradles, and secure it by tightening down each strap. With that done, our bike is all loaded up and we're ready to hit the road. That completes today's test fit of the Thule Vertex Four Bike Carrier, part number TH9029, on our 2005 Chevrolet Equinox. . more

Today, on our 2012 Chevrolet Traverse, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Traveler 4 bike rack, part number HR8500. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch. We'll line up the pinholes, enter our anti-rattle bolt into the pinholes and tighten it down with a wrench. With our Hollywood Racks Traveler secured to our Traverse, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the 2 fit together. We have about 16 1/2 inches of ground clearance. The closest part of our bike rack to the closest part of our Traverse is about 1/4 of an inch away. With the cradle arms folded down, we've added about 6 inches to the overall length of our Traverse. We can now pull the black pin at the top of the mast to swing the cradle arms out. With the cradle arms out, we've added about 29 1/2 inches to the overall length of our Traverse. To access the cargo area, we can pull the black pin at the base of the bike rack and tilt the mast down. more

As you can see, we have full access to the trunk of our car with our bike carrier in its upright position.If you need more room to get into your trunk you can tilt your carrier away from your vehicle by pulling the lever here at the base of the mast. Now we'll pull the level at the top of the mast to swing out our dual arms. more
