I'm going to show you a few features. Now the first feature I'm going to show you while the bike is on the rack, we have a tilt to feature. I'm going to grab hold to our bike rack, this lever here, pull it down and just bring it down like so. Now we should be able to get inside our hatch, but on this particular bike, it does touch at the handle bars, so if you have something smaller that you need to get in somehow at the back of the hatch, they can possible be there, but other than that, it will touch so you just want to keep that in mind. Close it back up and we will bring this back up. more

Today our 2016 Ford 250, we're going to test fit of the Yakima FullTilt hanging style four bike rack. Part number for that is Y02462. We have already have our bike on the rack, first I'm going to show you how we strap that down and then we'll go over some features. We've got two cradles in place holding the bike down up at the top and then we have three straps, two on our frame and then one as our anti-sway in the back. To release those you're going to push on the gray buttons and feed those through. These are also referred to as zip strips as well. I'll set mine off to the side and I'm going to replace them after I remove my bike but you can also leave them in your glove box or somewhere where you won't forget them or lose them. I just always like to replace mine so I know I won't lose them and they're in the exact spot I need them each time. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video

Today on our 2016 Ford F-250, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex Swing-Way Style Hanging-Style 4-Bike Rack, that part number is TH9031XT. We already have our bike on the rack, we're first going to show you the swing-way style feature and then we'll go over some more features and show you how our bike is strapped down. We're going to remove this T-pin here in the back and we're just going to set that off to the side. Around on the other side we're going to undo our black knob here and we're going to completely undo that just so it fits loose like that. Then we can pull our other T-pin out and start to rotate our bike rack. Once we get about halfway we're about to make contact with our truck, we will rotate our bike rack all the way around until our T-pin fits right down there in that metal piece. Then we can finish rotating our bike rack all the way around, we want our two pin holes here in the middle to line up, and then we can re-insert that T-pin to keep that in place. Back here in the back, this is going to allow us to get full access to our tailgate. more

We're just going to pull down and lift up to release those straps and then we can pull our bike off our rack and set it off to the side. With that out of the way, I would suggest that you replace any straps that you have just so you don't lose or damage any of them. more

To release that, we're just going to push on the black lever that's on this side and feed the strap through. Then, we have wheel hooks on the front and back tire. That's going to secure those wheels down in to those cradles and keep them there. more

Yakima FullTilt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Ford Fiesta- Video

Today on our 2015 Ford Fiesta we're doing a test fit of the Yakima full tilt, that part number is Y02462, it's the hanging style four bike rack, and we do already have our bike on here. We're going to first show you how we connect that and strap it down. We've got two cradles holding it down, with three straps, two on the frame and then one is our anti sway strap in the back. Now Yakima likes to call these zip strips as well, to release those we're just going to push the two grey buttons in and pull up on that strap, and we save our anti sway strap for last because that's going to prevent the bike from swinging back and forth and possibly damaging your vehicle, set those strips off to the side and we can remove our bike. With the bike off I always suggest that you replace any straps that you may have on any kind of bike rack so we don't lose or damage any of them. All right now that those are back in place we can take a few measurements, overall with our arms up we're adding about thirty six inches to the back of the vehicle, now if we we're wanting to park in a close quarters parking spot we could come up here to this red knob, or red lever, pull up on it that's going to lower those arms down and that'll lock into place. Now we're only adding about ten and a half inches to the vehicle, our ground clearance is going to be to the bottom of this red knob here, at about eight and a half inches and our closest point is about five inches away there. Now this is called the full tilt, it does tilt away from your vehicle, to do so we're going to pull down on the black lever, that's going to allow us to get that bike rack away from our back hatch to open that up and get anything in or out that we may need, and we do have enough room to step between the rack and the vehicle to get out larger items as well. more

Today on our two thousand fifteen Ford F-150, we're doing a test fit of the CURT Premium Hanging Style 4 bike rack. The part number for that is C18O64. We already have our bike on our rack. We're first gonna show you how we connect that down and secure it and then we'll go over some features of the rack itself. We've got two cradles for our bike and three straps. Two up here at the frame and then one is our anti-sway strap at the back. To release those we're just gonna pull down and lift up and we'll save our anti-sway strap for last. more

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video

Today on our 2015 Ford F250 we're going to be doing a test fit on the Yakima RidgeBack. This is a folding and tiling four bike rack. It's been designed with 1-1/4 or the 2 inch hitches. Part number on it is Y02458. Now the RidgeBack uses three cradles. We've got two frame cradles here on the top and an anti-sway cradle here in the rear. more

Today on our 2012 Ford Escape we're test fitting the Kuat Transfer Three Bike Platform style rack. This rack is adaptable for inch and a quarter or two inch hitches. Today on our 2015 Ford Escape we are test fitting our Yakima Full Tilt 4 Bike Rack, part number Y02462. As you can see, we do already have our bike on here. We're just going to show you how we put the bike on, and then also a couple features about the actual bike rack. Now we'll come up here to these straps. They are strapped in on each side and the strap comes out completely. We'll just push down on these two grey levers here and pull the strap out. We'll just set those to the side for a minute. As you can see it is strapped in both on the top and on the back seat post there. more

We're going to show you how we secure that onto the rack and then also some extra features. As you can see here, we do have 3 cradles and straps that are keeping our bike to the rack itself. We've got 2 on the frame here and the one which is on the seat post that's going to be our anti-sway strap. To release those, we're just going to press down on each grey lever on either side and pull the straps straight out. more
