Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2004 Ford E-Series van. When looking for a hitch on our website, you'll find that these are the three most popular hitches. On top here we have our CURT class 4, part number 14055. The second, we have our Draw-Tite class 3, which is part number 75703. Here we have our CURT class 3, which is going to be part number 13053. Now one of the main things you're going to notice at first is the design, where the CURT has a square tube and the Draw-Tite is a round tube design. The Draw-Tite does have the round tube design and it follows into the receiver tube, which has a little rounded edge on it. more

Today on our 2004 Ford Van we're going to be taking a look at and installing the CURT custom fit class four trailer hitch receiver, part number 14055. This will be what your CURT custom fit class four trailer hitch receiver looks like on the backside of the vehicle. You're going to have your sleek, black powder coat finish that's going to help in reducing rust and corrosion. You'll see that you'll have your 5/8" pinhole drilled straight through, with the heavy duty chain tie downs and heavy-gauged tubing. The receiver inlet is going to be 2" by 2", giving you a capability of carrying up to 1,000 pounds of tongue weight and 10,000 pounds of trailer weight. With a weight distribution it's going to be 1,200 pounds tongue weight and 12,000 pounds max towing capacity. more
