This is going to be a really great value bike rack. It's a platform style which makes it very easy to load and unload. It holds the bike by the wheel, which makes it good for carbon frame bikes and alternative frame bikes because we're not relying on frame contact to hold the bike. And it has a 60 pound weight capacity per bike making this a good option for some e-bikes. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 on the back of our 2023 Toyota RAV4. The NV is a platform-style bike rack capable of carrying up to two bikes, and it's going to make it really easy to do so because it's a very nice premium bike rack. This one holds the bike by the tire using this wheel hook up front, and that means it doesn't make any sort of frame contact on the bike. That makes it good for carbon frame bikes, alternative frame bikes, and with the 60 pound weight capacity per bike, it's gonna work well for some of our e-bikes too. With this working with so many bikes, the other nice thing is it works well with our vehicle. more

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Ford F-150- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp and seeing how it fits in the back of our 2020 Ford F-150. This platform style bike rack is gonna be able to support up to two bikes and be designed to carry e-bikes. It's got a 66 pound weight capacity per bike and holds the bike by clamping around the frame. We've got this piece right here which slides up and down the mast, easier to move if you loosen the hand knob, and can rotate around to adapt to different frame styles. This strap will wrap around the frame and hold it into the padded cradle right here. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 two-bike platform rack fits on the 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. So the Sherpa is very popular because it is a stylish rack, it has really smooth movements, and it can fit a lot of bikes. Now there are some downsides to this like if you have a very heavy electric bike, this has a max weight capacity of 40 pounds, but other than that, it's a really good fit for Hyundai Santa Fe and we'll talk about why. So the first thing we're gonna talk about is the tilt-away feature. There's gonna be this lever in the center of the rack. You're gonna pull that lever and just let the rack drop down to a tilt. more

Curt Premium 4 Bike Rack Review - 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport- Video
Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Premium hitch bike rack and how it fits on our 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport. The Curt Premium is a hanging style bike rack that's going to hold onto our bikes by the top tube as well as an anti-sway cradle on the other side. It's gonna be able to support up to 180 pounds total, but because it does make contact with the frame on the top, if you want to use this with your carbon frame bikes, we'd recommend it against it. It does have a nice taper towards the end to accommodate kid's bikes, if you're going to be taking those out to the trail. But if you have an alternative style bike, you might need to pick up a bike adapter bar to make it work. more

The Curt Premium is a hanging style bike rack capable of supporting four bikes up to 180 pounds total. It's gonna hold onto our bike primarily by the top tube and let the rest of the bike hang down, hence the name. It's gonna support our bike with three straps, two on the top and one anti-sway strap on the side here. As you can see here with the front tire, it is free hanging right now though, so if we rotate it all the way, it'll make contact with the back of our Sierra, so we recommend picking up some stabilizer straps if you can, just to secure that in place. more

If you did wanna mix and match this with something with a carbon frame or a really nice paint job we'd recommend against it 'cause although it does make primary contact here on our frame hooks and they're padded, it still does make that contact there and could potentially damage your frame while you're driving. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 hitch bike rack and how it fits on a 2018 Ford Escape. The NV 2.0 is a two-bike platform style bike rack, capable of supporting two bikes up to 60 pounds a piece. It's going to hold onto our bike primarily with this wheel hook here and one strap down there at the back. So if you wanna mix and match, this will accommodate your carbon frame bikes, since this is no frame contact, and alternative frame style bikes that might have a crazy design. Also, if you wanna get some kids bikes on here, there are adapters for these sold separately, but you can put those on to accommodate those two. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination Two Bike Hitch Bike Rack and how it fits on our 2018 Ford Escape. It's gonna be a platform style bike rack, capable of supporting two bikes up to 35 pounds each. And it's going to be holding onto our bike primarily by these rotated padded clamps that go up and down our center mast. They do swivel and they are padded, but we still don't recommend using bikes like carbon frame bikes because it could potentially damage the frame as that's where our main point of contact is. And it's also gonna hold on with two straps, one on the back and one on the front wheel. more

The SE is a two-bike platform style bike rack capable of supporting up to 80 pounds per bike, which is a lot. That's some of the most weight capacity I've seen out of a hitch bike rack that we've tested. So it's gonna be really good for your e-bike purposes. Pretty much any bike you wanna get on here will fit. more

It's going to hold onto our bike primarily with this front wheel hook here as well as one additional strap down at the bottom. So you can get some heavier bikes on here, but say you wanna mix and match maybe a carbon frame bike or you have an alternative frame style bike with a really aggressive design, you can accommodate those two without taking damage to the frame, because we don't make any contact with the frame. One of the nice benefits of this rack is that it does have the ability for it to tilt away with the bikes loaded up, so we'll show you that early on. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro hitch bike rack and how it fits on our 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport. This is gonna be a hanging style bike rack capable of supporting four bikes up to 35 pounds each. It's going to hold onto our bike primarily by the top tube here. It's just gonna sit in these cradles and there's gonna be one anti-sway cradle that's gonna hold onto the down tube of a bike to cut down on some of that swaying movement. With a hanging style bike rack it's almost impossible to get rid of that entirely so there's gonna be a little bit no matter what you do. more
