Review of the Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier on a 2014 Toyota Sienna

Today on our 2014 Toyota Sienna we're doing a test fit of the Let's Go Aero Gear Space 34 enclosed cargo carrier. That part number is HGK826. Now this has 34 cubic feet of space and has a weight capacity of 300 pounds. Here we've got it installed on our vehicle. We're going to show you a cool feature first. It's going to be our slide-out feature.

We'll come here to the bottom and we're going to remove this clip and this pin here. Now it does have threading on it so you will have to undo those. We'll remove that pin, set it off to the side, and then we're actually able to pull out on our cargo carrier. It is a little difficult, but one good thing about that is we have this cord here which is going to prevent it from slipping off or sliding out too far. Now we'll check our hatch clearance.

We're just going to have just enough with it fully extended out to get anything in or out of your vehicle that you may need. What's great about this is that we don't have to worry about taking our whole cargo carrier off of our vehicle just to gain that access. Then it easily slides back into place and you can reinsert this pin and clip. Now you do want to make sure that you have this completely tightened down before you drive. Now to gain access into our cargo carrier we're going to open up our levers here. There's one at the front and one at the back just like so.

Then to gain access we'll have to open our passenger side first and then our driver side. You can see all the space that we have in here. This will fit any different types of gear from sporting equipment to camping equipment and more. Then to put it back into place we're going to close up our driver side first and then our passenger side. Once again, closing up our latches here at the front and at the back just like so.

Now we'll take a few measurements here to give you a good idea of whether or not this will fit with your vehicle. We're going to have about 34-1/4" added to our vehicle and a ground clearance of about 16-3/4". Then our closest point's going to be down here at the base sitting at about 1-1/2" away. Not one other great thing about this cargo carrier is that it does come with lights already installed so you don't have to worry about purchase more lights to insert onto your cargo carrier. It also has a place for your license plate as well. As for our hitch, it comes with an anti-rattle bolt and clip so it's going to help to keep a lot of the shake and play out of your cargo carrier as you head down the road. It also has our wiring there to insert into your trailer wiring as well. That's going to be our completed look at the Gear Space 34 enclosed cargo carrier, part number HGK826, on our 2014 Toyota Sienna.Speaker 2: This is our test course. Let's start with the slalom. This shows side to side action such as turning corners or evasive maneuvering. Then onto our alternating speed bumps. This shows twisting action such as hitting curbs, potholes, road debris, or uneven pavement. Last of all, the speed bumps. This shows up and down action such as driving through a parking lot or parking garage, or driving in and out of a driveway.
