Flat plate measures 2-5/8" x 2-3/8" (from center of hole to center of hole). Attaches axle to leaf spring using 1/2" diameter U-bolts (sold separately). Galvanized steel is rust resistant, making it great for boat trailers.

Review of CE SMIth Trailer Suspension CE20023G


Today we're going to be taking a look at the CE Smith U bolt plate for trailer suspension systems. The U bolt plate is going to help secure a 2" diameter axle to a 1 3/4" wide leaf spring. Now this is going to require 2, 1/2" diameter U bolts. The U bolts are sold separately, found here at Etrailer.com. The 4 outer holes are designed to accept 1/2" diameter bolts.
