Nerf Bars for 2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon That Are Compatible with Factory Rock Rails

Question:

The Rubicon Model comes standard with Rock Rails. Your instructions seem to indicate that they mount into the holes on the frame which I believe the factory Rock Rails are already mounted in. Can you confirm which of the side steps will mount on the Wrangler Rubicon models?

According to all our vendors that offer tube steps, the factory rock rails on your Rubicon use the same mounting holes as the tube steps would, so you'd need to choose one or the other.

Rampage Products offers two products you could use in place of the rock rail that would still sit pretty close to the vehicle, the Slimline Round Bars w/ Hoop Steps, part # RA26627 or the retractable nerf bars, part # RA88632 would work well for you, but would provide a different look from the usual tube step. These step bars would be suitable for mild off-road use but wouldn't stand up to hardcore 4-wheeling like the factory rock rails would.
