Will The Chevy Bowtie LED Trailer Hitch Cover Illuminate When Tail Light/Reverse Light Are Activated

Is it only lit up when you hit the brakes or does it work as a tail light and or reverse light?

The Chevy Bowtie LED lighted trailer hitch cover # RP86530 will work with your vehicle's brakes and/or taillights.
The hitch cover # RP86530 will not light up when you are in reverse or when your turn signals are flashing. The LED hitch cover will stay dim until either the brake lights or hazard lights are activated which will result in higher illumination. Note that the converter, which is necessary to keep the hitch cover from flashing when your turn signals are activated, can be tucked away inside the mounting bracket.
It will fit 1-1/4 and/or 2-inch hitch receivers.
