Dimensions of Bottom of Ball Pocket to Lowest Mounting Hole

Question:

Hello, To be clear concerning the statement: 19.2 inches to the bottom of the ball socket is that the point where the coupler is located? I have a flatbed that is higher than most trucks and I dont have much height adjust tolerance. With the trailer level, I have 14 1/8 from the described hole to the bed. The ball is recessed in the bed another 4inch plate ball is attached to this gives me a total of 18 1/8 . I could live with that if I understand the dimensions correctly as all the measurements were performed trailer empty weight imagine once its loaded it will level out some. Thank you,

The 19.2 inch measurement on the Reese Goose Box, # RP85FR, is from the bottom of the ball pocket to the center of the lowest mounting hole. See the image at right. The ball pocket will go on your gooseneck hitch.
