Best Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Classic

Question:

What would be the best and easiest to install brake controller on my 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Classic? It does have a 7 pin trailer connector at the bumper. Also there is some kind of factor supplied wiring adapter in the glove box. I dont have the truck with me right now, so I cant look at it.

For a brake controller for your 2007 GMC Sierra Classic I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.

The easiest way to install this controller will be to also get the install harness # 3015-P that will plug right into the port under the dash of your truck. You can use the harness you have, but you will have to do some hardwiring between that harness and the brake controller.
