Connection Port for Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Controller # 90885 on 2011 Thor Hurricane on F-53 Frame
Question:
I have a 2011 Thor Hurricane built on a Ford F-53 Chassis. It came with a four pin connector and I want to install a 7 pin with a brake controller. I think I found the wiring for the brake controller but it is a grey box under the dash I could not find any other plugs although it will fit the 3035P adapter. Also I dont see any additional wires near the hitch to hook up the controller? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

On a 2011 Ford F-53 chassis there is a brake controller connection port but it is not in the usual location under the dash (near the emergency brake pedal) as on Ford pickup trucks. The brake controller port is located directly behind the instrument cluster near other connectors, and perhaps slightly to the right of the steering column. It is not easy to get to but it is there. Ford has a document Q-206 with pictures that should help.
The quick connect harness for your F-53 is part # 3035-P.
