Spare Tire Mounted Bike Rack for 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser with Backup Camera

Have fj cruiser. 2012. Has wheel mount back up camera. Will have male and female bike.

If you are okay with not using the back up camera while carrying bikes I recommend going with the Hollywood Racks SR1 2-Bike Carrier - Spare Tire Mount, part # HRSR1, which you reference. You will have to remove the plastic cover from the spare tire for it to fit.

Since you plan on carrying a womens bikes, I recommend picking up the Bike Frame Adapter Bar, # HRBA-PRO. Bikes with small or angled frames can be difficult to load on a bike rack and cause ground clearance issues. This adapter will allow you to load your bikes easily and safely.

If you want to use the back up camera while carrying bikes you will need to go with a roof rack system and a roof mounted bike rack.

If you are interested in this option I will be glad to make a recommendation, however I will need to know whether your vehicle has a naked roof or factory side raised rails that run front to back.
