Question:
I want to get for a Christmas present and dont know how to measure. What length goes across a 2004 Chevy Tahoe z71 package with factory roof rack and bars? Also not sure if this is the best one for this vehicle?

Since manufacturers do not test their product with other company components you will need to measure your crossbars to see if they will work with the Thule Fairing for Roof Racks, part # TH82WV. This fairing is 44 inches long and designed to work with Thule Rapid load bars, which measure 2-1/8 x 1-1/8, Aero load bars that measure 2-1/8 x 1-1/8, and square load bars that measure 1-1/4 x 7/8. For a 52 inch fairing you would order part # TH22WV.
Another fairing I recommend is the Rhino-Rack Fairing, part # RRRF3. This will work with crossbars that can have a maximum dimension of 1-1/4 x 3-1/2 and a minimum of 7/8 high.
