Troubleshooting Brake Controller on 2004 Chevrolet Silverado
Question:
Hooked up new unit to 2004 chevy using the plug in. Everything seems on but cant get any brakes. Trailer is new PJ and works great on another truck. Seems to me at the trailer shop they ran an extra wire to get brakes on the other truck. Any ideas. I hot shot and using this truck as back up during service time of my newer truck. THANKS This trailer is disc and I did switch controller to right setting. Not my first time around the block.

The first thing that comes to mind is checking to make sure that the connections were made under the hood of your 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. I have attached an article that goes over the step by step instructions.
If these connections were made and the additional fuses are in place but your brakes still aren't functioning, please send me an email and we will continue to try and locate the issue.
