Yes, the Chain Hangers for Curt Weight Distribution Systems # C17005 that you referenced could be used on a 12k rated WD system. Curt offer either a 10k system part # 17302 or a 15k system # C17333 that this would work great with.
The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow.
