Can Coil-Rite Air Spring Be Mounted With Air Line At The Top On 2010 Toyota Sequoia

Question:

i have installed the air line coming out of the bottom of the coil spring. this is what the installation manual made it sound like the way they should be installed. it seems like all of the installation videos show the air bags installed with the fill line going into the bag from the top of the coil spring. this is for a 2010 toyota sequoia. it does seem to have some interference from the hole on the bottom that the line runs through but not enough to bend it over sharply. so do i need to switch the bags around and have the air line come out the top or should i be okay with the way that they are installed out the bottom?

I took a look at the installation instructions for the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Springs part # F4164 for your 2010 Toyota Sequoia. It does show that the air line should be at the bottom of the air spring when installed.

I spoke with another Expert about the instructions and they told me that they called Firestone and was told that if you are able to install the Coil-Rite with the air line at the top it would not make a difference in the performance.

If you have a kink in the line or it seems to run in a manner that restricts the air flow to the air spring then I recommend changing it around and installing it with the air line at the top.
