Comparing Thule OutWay 2 Trunk-Mount 2-Bike Carrier to the # TH9001XT and # TH9001pro

Hi, What advantage, if any, does the Thule Raceway # TH9001pro have compared to the TH9001XT?

The two Thule trunk-mount bike racks you referenced, the # TH9001XT and # TH9001PRO, differ in two respects. The TH9001pro was the Raceway and it incorporated locking covers over its cable release mechanisms and is USA-made. This rack also reflects the latest pricing while the older out-of-production version TH9001XT does not.

These are both earlier versions of the current model, the OutWay # TH45JV. This newest model uses only 2 straps to secure and there has been an improvement that removed the cradles. I attached a video for you to look at this new and improved version.
