Will the Thule Helium Aero Hand Locking Knob Interfere With a Draw-Tite Hitch

Question:

I have a 2006 Scion TC and I want to make sure the knob on rack will not be in the way of the Draw-Tite. # 24827 that I just purchased from you. Also will this rack lock onto the hitch? I have two mountain bikes for this rack.

The Thule Helium Aero hitch mounted bike rack # TH9042PRO hand locking knob will not interfere with your Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24827. The trailer hitch part 24827 is Class-I rated and has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening and the rack is compatible with a Class-I trailer hitch.

The Helium Pro lets you lock your bikes to the rack and the rack to your vehicle for complete security. So, once you have tightened the rack in place you simply lock it with a key and the rack cannot be removed from your hitch. It has a weight capacity of 37.5 pounds per bike.

If you don't have one already, I recommend an adapter bar such as # TH982XT because it will be easier to transport your alternative frame, child's or a woman's bike on a hanging-style bike rack.
