Thule Aeroblade Edge Roof Rack Recommendation for a 2014 Toyota 4Runner

Question:

I am looking into buying a thule aeroblade system for my 2014 4Runner. The fit guides have shown that I need a 53inch crossbar. This overhangs the sides of the car more than I would like. I understand that the rapid crossroad also has some overhang as well, but I would like to attempt to use a 47inch cross bar instead. Do you think this could possibly work? Thanks.

If you wanted a Thule Aerblade Roof Rack for your 2014 4Runner that has zero overhang you would want the Edge # TH7503-TH7503 as it will install in between your side rails.

I believe this would be your best option, I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
