Brake Controller Light Flashes When I Turn on My Emergency Flashers on a 1991 Ford F-350
Question:
I just obtained a 1991 Ford F-350 7.3L Deisel and ond day I tryed the emergency flashers and noticed that the light on the brake control was blinking with the flasher. What is going on?

This is a common problem on older vehicles. With the flashers on, the brake controller light will blink. If you have a trailer connected it will also pulse the trailer brakes, which you do not want to do.
If you will need to use your flashers while towing an electric brake equipped trailer, you will need a Pulse Preventer like part # 5501.
