Will the Prodigy RF Brake Controller Lose Signal When Going Through a Tunnel
Question:
Im buying a new Highlander and was told by my local Toyota dealer that the Prodigy RF may be pulled off the market due to safety concernse.g. going through a tunnel could cause the signal to be lost. This doesnt make sense to me, and all I see are favourable comments, but do you know of any concerns like this? Thanks

There is no truth to that whatsoever. I even verified it with my technical contact at Tekonsha who also verified it with the product manager responsible for the Prodigy RF, # TK94FR. Even if the RF lost the signal between the handheld unit in your vehicle and the unit on the trailer, the trailer brakes would still work and would revert back to the last setting the handheld was set to.
