Will a Resonated Exhaust Tip Make Exhaust Sound Louder on a Truck
Question:
Will a resonated exhaust tip added to a factory exhaust system on my truck add sound? And would it sound right?

Expert Reply:
Using a resonated exhaust tip such as # PM-5104 would make the exhaust sound more crackly, for lack of a better term, than the stock exhaust and it might be a little louder. If you want to keep the exhaust note the same then a tip like # MF35212 would be a better way to go. It fits a 2-3/4 to 3 inch diameter exhaust pipe.
If you want a deep and louder sound then you would want a cat-back exhaust system. For that I would need to know the year, make, and model truck you have, bed length, engine size, and where the exhaust currently exists the vehicle.
