What Adjustments Are Needed When Installing Brake Controller On 2013 Ford Explorer

I just placed a order for the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 for my Toyota Tundra 2011. After everything is hooked up, do you have to do anything special once you hook your trailer up, or does the controller learn your trailer brakes on its own?

When you are installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake controller, part # 90195 there are a few things you will need to do to make sure it is operating correctly. I have included the instructions for the P3 you can check out.

You first need to set the brake type, then the boost settings which is the brake sensitivity. Other options you have are to adjust the screen display. The instructions also include troubleshooting as well.
