Proportional Brake Controller Recommendation for 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
Question:
How do I know what proportional brake controller to get. So many choices........I have an ON-OFF controller now. I tow a 30 footer now, compared to the pop-up we used to have. I have purchased from you folks before and am trusting your choice for me, and I know you will offer me a deal I cant refuse, seeing as we are off season at this point. We currently tow with an 05 Chevy Trailblazer.

A proportional-type controller will deliver towing performance superior to any time-delayed unit and will also help reduce brake wear on both your trailer and tow vehicle by keeping braking forces more evenly distributed between the truck and trailer.
Our customers highly rate the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Proportional Brake Controller # 90885 for its easy set-up and reliable long-term performance. The P2 offers the flexibility to operate both electric and electric-over-hydraulic brakes, includes an auto-leveling function and even has built-in continuous diagnostics to help with any trailer wiring malfunctions.
The P2 will install with its included pigtail harness to the wiring already in place under your dash. The linked video shows the process in a 2006 TrailBlazer. The written instructions are linked for you as well.
