Weight Distribution System Recommendation for a Trailer with a Pole Tongue

Does this system works with non A trailer? I have Aluminum boat trailer with long tongue.

I have a solution for you, but the Blue Ox weight distribution systems aren't designed to fit pole tongue trailers, nor is there an adapter available for these systems that would work.

Reese on the other hand does have a pole tongue adapter that would work with one of their WD systems. The adapter you would need is part # RP58393.

Since you have an aluminum trailer you will need to check with the manufacturer of the trailer to make sure that WD systems can be used with the trailer.

Then for a similarly rated system to the Blue Ox system you referenced I would recommend the part # PS49583.

The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached an FAQ on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well.
