Will the SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs Kit # SSF-201-47 Fix Damged Torsion Bars
Question:
MY FRONT FACTORY rubber bumpers have been fully broken off. The t orsion bars are used instead of coil springs I understand that but if the ride height is off then because of weak torsion bars these #SSF-201-47 will not fix the torsion bar problem ,I cannot get ride height measurments from local shops they want to align it!! they say that will fix the rubber bumper problem. I would like to know the front ride height for 2002 Chevrolet Silverado crew cab long bed 2 wheel drive. then I can measure and see if the #SSF-201-47 will replace my broken rubber stops and I do not have other problems.

The SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs Kit # SSF-201-47 should only be used on a vehicle that has proper functioning suspension. If you have weak or damaged torsion springs I would recommend you have them replaced before you install this product.
These would not fix the problem you have as they are only designed for additional support. Not to be used as a bandaid for damaged suspension.
We do not have access to information on what the stock ride height would be for your truck.
