Tips for Mounting a Trailer Roof Vent on a Ford E-250 Van
Question:
The E-250 has ribs in the roof surface. Is there a way to mount the vent over the valleys of the ribs? the sealant wont be enough to fill the gaps will it?

The sealant might be enough, it depends on how deep the corrugations are. You may need to use some sort of spacer if the gaps are too large. I would say if the bottom of the flange that mounts to the roof is more than a 1/4 inch from the top of the roof you would need to use spacers of some kind to bridge the gap and then use the sealant.
