Hub and Drum Recommendation for a 3,500 Dexter Axle

Question:

I have a homemade utility trailer with axels diameters equal to a 3500# axel. The hubs have 6 on 5-1/2inch lugs with a 1.06inch outer bearing, 1.475inch inner bearing, and 1.720inch seal diameter. What hub and drum would fit this axel please?

First off thank you for all of the information you listed, that makes picking out a replacement hub much easier.

Most likely you have the number 84 spindle as the dimensions you gave are pretty close to what that spindle has. You will need to double check your measurements though for the inner bearing as that should be 1.38 inches and not 1.475.

If that all checks out the correct hub and drum you would need is the part # 84656UC3-EZ. It has the bolt pattern you need, the capacity you need, and is designed to fit a number 84 spindle.
