Brake Controller Recommendation to Activate Electric Over Hydralic Brakes
Question:
I have 2 trucks one has a vacuum system to control the hydraulic brakes on my horse trailer not wanting to install another vacuum system on the second truck is there a converter I can mount on the trailer to use my electric brake controller to work the hydraulic brakes on the trailer ?

Sounds like you have an electric over hydraulic actuator on your second trailer. Some brake controllers like the Prodigy P2 brake controller part # 90885 can be switched into EOH mode and will work to control the brakes easily.
Some actuators have adapters that will allow any electric brake controller to be used with them but these aren't always reliable. Your best option would be to go with a brake controller that is confirmed to work on EOH brake systems like your trailer has like the # 90885.
