Does a 5th Airborne Replacement Pin Box Increase Clearance Between Truck and Trailer
Question:
I blew out a rear window trying to jack my Fuzion into its storage space. Will this give me the additional clearance I need to do a 90 degree jack?

The 5th Airborne replacement couplers such as # 5AB-E510-710 have roughly the same dimensions as the stock pin boxes they are meant to replace so you would not get additional clearance with it unless it was a 5th Airborne and Sidewinder combo.
A slider hitch or a Sidewinder will provide more clearance. For a Sidewinder I would need to know the manufacturer and model of the pin box. This information should be on a sticker or plate on the pin box.
For a slider hitch, there are many options. If your truck has industry standard above the bed rails (like in # RP30035 for example) then you can use any of the slider hitches we carry designed for above the bed rails. If your truck has the factory prep package with the 4 pucks in the bed then # RP30144 will fit directly in the puck system.
