Replacement Trailer Connector For 2001 Toyota Tundra

Question:

I have a 2001 Toyota Tundra. I had to cut off the end of the trailer hitch wire bcz it got corroded onto something else and I couldn`t get it off and either could anyone else. I need just that piece. Plz tell me I don`t have to replace the entire harness! Can I get just the last section where the plug-in is by the hitch itself? Do you have it and how much is it? Thank you for you time.

If the connector you cut off your 2001 Toyota Tundra is a 4-way, the connector I recommend is part # 118001. This is a 48 inch long harness with the vehicle end 4-way connector.

If you cut a 7-way connector off, then I recommend the Hopkins Endurance Quick-Install 7-Way Trailer Connector with Universal Pigtail Harness, part # HM47210. Since you said you cut the wires on your truck, you can simply attach this harness as a replacement.

To keep the connector more secure I recommend part # C57202 no-drill mounting bracket, and the 7-way mounting bracket, part # 18138 that attaches to the no-drill bracket.

I have attached a link to an installation video you can check out.
