The Thule Pulse Alpine cargo box # TH613 is designed to fit round, square, aero, elliptical and most factory crossbars so it does fit well on all of those. There are some exclusions though so I would need to know the year of your Ford Explorer to determine if the box fits the factory or dealer bars.

The best fit is going to be on Thule bars since they are testing primarily on their bars so that doesn't mean the box will not fit well on other bars too.

I did check on a 2014 Ford Explorer with the factory crossbars and the box is listed as a fit.
