First I suggest a check of your Xterra owner's manual for any guidance about the use of tire chains.
It is probably not an issue with this vehicle but some do have limitations on the type of chains that can be used. Many passenger vehicles are limited to using a special low-clearance S-Class type chain. The two articles linked at right will give you plenty of background.
If your manual does not exclude other types then the Pewag # PWE3229S that you referenced is a
good choice for on-road and off-road use. Their case-hardened nickel-manganese alloy steel construction and thick links will dig in and provide excellent wear. You can use two sets if you wish, again, unless your owner's manual indicates otherwise.
Do note that no tire chains allow full-speed highway driving; most are rated for up to 35-mph maximum.
