will this replace the 2 worn out struts for the old style Thule Adventurer?

The replacement hinge for the Thule Adventurer cargo box is # TH14936. This is just one hinge. You would want to replace both hinges for the best operation. I have included a couple of links to the right to videos on this hinge for you.
