What Size Hole Is Needed For Mounting Bulb And Socket For Taillight Assembly
Question:
Can you tell me what size hole I well have to cut to mount the socket? I am planning to use a hole saw. Is this the best way or should I look for another method? Thanks,

To install the Roadmaster Bulb and Socket Kit, part # RM-155-2, you will need to drill a 1 inch diameter hole in the rear of your taillight assemblies.
You want to make sure you have at least 2-1/2 inches of available depth, because the heat from the bulb could melt the lens if mounted too close.
A hole saw is probably the best option for drilling a 1 inch hole.
If the entire kit is needed, you can order part # RM-155. I have attached an installation video you can check out.
