Is There Drilling Required to Install the Westin HDX Grille Guard on a 2014 RAM 1500 SLT
Question:
Does the mounting require any drilling into frame or body of the truck? What different product variations are available to avoid any additional drilling? I am highly concerened to have an unprofessional job done if it was required where I live sound technical skills are literally not existing - thats why I need a fool-proof heavy duty cow-catcher-like front protection for my brand-new RAM.

I spoke with my Westin contact who tells me that their grille guards aren't tested for collision with animals. Their grille guards would almost certainly offer a good degree of protection in the event you were to hit a deer, but the guards are designed to be a cosmetic accessory, not a push bar or battering ram.
There is no drilling to install this grille guard either.
