Tire Chain Recommendation for a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk
Question:
I am seeking a low clearance chain S-class for my 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. It is down to the #TC3210CAM which can be used on and off-road and the on-road only PWPLC1144 Glacier Square-Link. Is the TC3210CAM Titan Twist Link chain a low-clearance chain suitable for the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk giving me some off-road possible uses or should I go with the PWPLC1144 Glacier Square-Link? The users manual for the Trailhawk states The use of 9mm snow chains is permitted wight he use of 225/65R17 tires. I currently have 245/65R17 ties and am not too interested in spending $1000 for the 225/65R17 tires. Thank you.

Actually neither of the chains you referenced are S-rated chains so I would not recommend either for you since that is what the owners manual of your 2014 Jeep Cherokee recommends.
I attached a page that has all of the chains we offer confirmed to fit your 245/65R17 tire size that are S rated.
After having installed all of the different styles of chains that we offer I think your best option would be the part # TC2317. This is a chain style that will be much more effective than the cable sets that are available and won't break the bank like some of the other sets would, yet still this chain will install relatively easy and will give you great traction. I attached a review and install video for you to check out as well.
Any and all restrictions on snow chains that your owners manual lists should be followed. We cannot recommend you go against what Jeep says even if it sounds a bit extreme.
