Can the Surco 2 Bike Carrier # SP501BR Carry a Recumbent Bike
Question:
My wife rides a Sun EZ-1 Recumbent Bicycle. I have a standard Sedona comfort mountain bike. We own a 2011 Carriage Cameo with a rear ladder. it does not have a rear bumper. Can the SP501BR accommodate the recumbent bike? Thanks!

The Surco 2 Bike Carrier # SP501BR that you referenced could work for you, but it will come down to a few factors. This carrier has a weight capacity of 75 lbs so you will need to make sure that the combined weight of your two bikes is less than that.
Also, your recumbent will be pretty long so you would need to be able to mount this rack up pretty high on the ladder so that the bike wouldn't drag the ground.
Check out the review video I attached to the right for this rack that shows it being used.
