Solution for Carrying a Honda PCX150 at the Back of a Class C RV

Question:

Sirs: I have read all of your FAQs regarding the Ultra-Fab motorcycle hitch carrier and thought that I had found the perfect carrier for use behind my 34-foot Super C diesel motorhome as well as my Toyota Highlander. From what I read, the Ultra-Fab is the only simple hitch carrier that was recommended by eTrailer.com for use with a motorhome. Just for grins, I looked at Amazon.com to see if there were any reviews for this hitch carrier and there was only one. This review concerned the use of the Ultra-Fab carrier with a Honda PCX150 scooter, which is exactly the scooter I had my eye on. The Amazon.com review stated the following: Regardless of what you read concerning what brands will work with this carrier - IT WILL NOT FIT A HONDA PCX150 !!! The raised areas in the middle interfere with the bottom skid plate and will not allow the front tire to into the tire support. We bought this to haul on a motorhome, but later found out, because of the extra swaying and bouncing at the back of the motorhome, it is not recommended to be used with motorhomes. If this review is accurate and the Ultra-Fab carrier cannot be used to carry a Honda PCX150 scooter on a motorhome, do you have any other suggestions or recommendations? Thank you for your consideration.

The only option we have for a motorcycle carrier with a Class C motorhome is the Ultra-Fab Motorcycle Carrier part # UF48-979033 that you referenced. We spoke to Ultra-Fab a few times and they assured us that the carrier can be used at the back of an RV.

I attached a picture of this carrier being used with a similar PCX as the one you are looking at. I believe it's a PCX 300 in the picture.
