Shank for a 2-1/2 Inch Trailer Hitch to Use Reese 1700 Pound Weight Distribution
Question:
your data says it will work with 21/2inch hitch receiver hitch but it appears to have 2inch box size on reese data, which is correct?

Reese weight distribution system # RP66075 does not come with a shank so if using it with a 2-1/2 inch trailer hitch you just need the appropriate shank. You can use # RP54977 with a 5-3/4 inch drop or 8-1/4 inch rise.
You will also need a ball that has a 1-1/4 inch shank diameter such as # C40085.
